The 2000s and 2010s brought a significant amount of change to the College. To begin with, the College leadership changed.  Dr. Dean VanTrease retired after 15 years as President, and Dr. Tom McKeon was named the third President of the College in 2004. Not long after this, in 2006, the Southeast Campus expanded to include the new Medical and Biotechnical Learning Center.  This facility brought with it another round of diverse students to study and learn about medicine.

In 2007, Dr. Thomas McKeon sponsored a program into existence that has become a model for other community colleges across the country.  This program is known as Tulsa Achieves! The Tulsa Achieves program provides books and tuition coverage for students of Tulsa County that have at least a 2.0 GPA and plan to come straight to TCC following the summer after their high school graduation.

It was also during 2007 that the College opened a new center with the purpose of helping diverse students from Tulsa county.  This center was known as the Education Outreach Center (located in east Tulsa). This entity provided services such as enrollment guidance, financial aid guidance, testing, and advising to the diverse students in that area of Tulsa.

Technology has always been a driving force in what the College offers to it's students.  The College also needed a place for more community engagement.  With these two ideas in mind, and named for the Current President, the McKeon Center for Creativity was opend in 2009.  This facility houses the College's IT department, has studio space for broadcasting classes, and has an area that can be used for meetings, presentations, exhibits, and much, much more!

As mentioned before, Dr. McKeon played an integral role in providing a service to students that would allow them to get a degree at no cost through Tulsa Achieves. Dr. McKeon made the decision to retire in 2014, and the search was on for a new President for the College.  After a national search, Dr. Leigh Goodson was named the not only the fourth President of the College, but also the first female President.  She continues to lead the College to new heights through her phenomenal leadership!
